The Experience

The experience is one of a kind and unique to the festival. It’s the only event in North America that combines country music, rodeo and western culture. You can expect to see your favorite stars live on stage, meet other fans from around the world, attend workshops on how to tie a lasso or ride a bull, enjoy some great food & drinks at our vendors’ booths or just hang out with family & friends while listening to great music!

The Country Western Festival is held at multiple locations throughout southern California during late April through May each year.

The History

The Stagecoach Festival is a country music festival held each year in Indio, California. The first event was held at the Empire Polo Club in 2007 and has been held every year since then.

The Stagecoach Festival is one of many concerts that take place at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival Grounds. It’s also one of the oldest festivals in the United States, having been recognized as such by Guinness World Records—the first time it was awarded this distinction was back when it first started!

The Venue

The venue is a 160-acre site, with three main stages. There’s also a large camping area and general admission area for those who want to get up close and personal with their favorite artists. The grounds are well organized, so you won’t have to worry about getting lost in the crowd as you walk from one stage to another!

Packages & Tickets

  • Tickets are on sale now, and are available for all three days of the festival.
  • You can also purchase tickets to the weekend, or even camping during your stay in California’s beautiful San Bernardino County.
  • If you’d rather go with a friend or family member who isn’t as familiar with country music, don’t worry! Packages include first-class accommodations for two adults (and one child under 18) at any of our lodging options—including hotels and RV parks—as well as general admission into all events across Stagecoach’s four main stages throughout each night of your stay.*

Stagecoach Festival is truly one of the biggest country music festivals

Stagecoach Festival is the world’s largest country and western festival, held annually in April at the California state fairgrounds in Auburn, California. The event started as an outdoor concert series but has since grown into a full-fledged music festival with multiple stages and locations throughout the grounds.

The event has been running since 2007 when it was first held at its current location; however, it was originally intended to be held inside a smaller venue that could accommodate only 6,000 people (the current capacity). Since then Stagecoach has expanded greatly and now boasts 45,000 attendees per day during its peak period—which is one of the largest for any festival anywhere!

Conclusion

The idea of the festival is apparently a combination of three events that were previously running in Pontefract, England. The first event was called “Shoot The Chute” and was a gun fight style competition. The second annual “Black Powder Bush Shooting Festival” featured the same World-famous target range at Shobnall Hall as the stagecoach festival site today. It included 2 days of shooting competitions, music and camping activities on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

The third event was traditionally held on Easter Monday in Shobnall Hall, where a charity dance featuring bands including Chris de Burgh with his band “Chris de Burgh & Friends”, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, America and others was held in aid of local charities including Beatrix Children’s Hospice (formerly) which later became known as ‘Cancer Research’. As with all these events over time the profits from the event were donated to those charities so it seems likely that this is how it will be celebrated into the future.

Stagecoach Festival has developed annually since its inception with an annual line up of special guests and bands to include Baccara (December 2005), Status Quo (April 2006), Little Angels (May 2006), Tina Turner (June 2006), George Michael (July 2006) and finally Hothouse Flowers (August 2007). Alongside these additions have come several new entertainment attractions such as a soft play area for children, stagecoach tours through various venues around Pontefract such as Tower Perrin Park & Gardens; sporting facilities such as golf courses; temporary hotels within Pontefract town centre and cruises around Pontefract Lake during festival weekend.

In 2009 Stagecoach added another attraction to their repertoire by setting up their own personal skate park complete with ramps, bowls, half pipes etc on top of Hayfield Leisure Centre in
